The purpose of the Nurse Practitioner Association of DC is to promote high standards of health care as delivered by nurse practitioners by increasing the visibility, viability, and competency of nurse practitioner practice in the District of Columbia. NPA of DC is committed to improving the organization and delivery of health care services, achieving cost effectiveness in health care systems, acting to remove barriers to nurse practitioner practice, and facilitating ongoing education for nurse practitioners.
